SHOPPING FOR CLOTHES

👔👗👖At a clothes shop 


💬PRACTISE: Read and listen to useful phrases here when you want to buy clothes. You should read aloud and repeat the phrases. 
👂Listen to conversations (from British Council): 1) buying a T-shirt and do exercises here. 2) a young man buying new shoes (with speaking practice) here

👥 ACT OUT: Now, prepare a conversation to role-play in class. Write a dialogue at a clothes shop and act it out to the class. (each person should have at least 8 entries)

📝 Further practice: Read and do exercises.
  • Put the words in order to make a dialogue (Liveworksheet)- easy. 
  • Order 3 short dialogues "At the Clothes Shop" (PDF) here.  Then, complete another dialogue in a shop, here. 
  • Read and complete two dialogues in a clothes shop. Download the PP presentation here 
  • Finally, find lots of exercises about clothes here (crosswords, listenings, speaking activities)
